The PinkTree Foundation Ethos

Bhagavad Gita: Chapter 4, Verse 29

In this shloka, Shri Krishna provides more detail around the use of praanaayaam as a form of yajnya. Praanas are the life energies within us that enable all our bodily functions including breathing, digestion, circulation and so on. Moreover, they function as the link between the mind and the body.

In praanaayaam, one regulates the breathing pattern (breathe in – retain – breathe out) as well as the time interval between each breath. This regulation has a direct impact on the mind. Even without studying praanaayaam, we can see that a few minutes of observing our normal breath helps to quieten the mind. Such is the power of breathing!

About Us

Vision

A future where every individual, regardless of location or income, can breathe freely with equal access to lung health education, early screening, and detection.

Mission

To empower communities with access to quality lung health education, screening, and compassionate, patient-first care.

Our Story

PinkTree Foundation was born from a simple, urgent truth: Millions in India suffer from preventable respiratory diseases like Asthma, COPD, and TB, not due to a lack of medical science, but a lack of access and awareness

We saw that the solution wasn't just in hospitals, but in villages, slums, and homes. So we built a new model that combines cutting-edge technology like AI voice analysis with the irreplaceable power of local community partnerships.

Our Values

We turn your investment into tangible social impact by identifying lung disease early in vulnerable communities, empowering them with knowledge and care, and advocating for a future where clean air is a right, not a privilege.

Awareness

Demystifying lung health through culturally-sensitive education to break stigma and spur prevention.

Access

Taking cutting-edge screening technology directly to people's doorsteps, making early detection free and easy.

Equity

Focusing our efforts on the most vulnerable—women, children, and underserved communities to bridge the healthcare gap.

Our Roots: The PinkTree Ethos

Our mission is inspired by the ancient Indian wisdom of the Bhagavad Gita, which teaches the profound power of pranayama (breath control) to link the mind and body -

" We believe that the simple, life-giving act of breathing is a fundamental right. PinkTree combines this timeless understanding with modern technology to protect that right for everyone."
